Building Solid Family Trees

Class 2 of 8

This class focuses on recording the names, dates, places, records, stories, sources, and/or notes that you find during research. Unraveling the truth is important. Is the story you heard or read, or the hints you found on a website, accurate? How to Interview relatives with an open mind for clues. What if sources are in conflict? Should I copy that family tree I just found on a website? And much more.

Second hour:  Q&A time for your questions about any aspect of your family tree and genealogy research.

REGISTRATION REQUIRED TO RECEIVE THE ZOOM LINK.

Pat Kliewer has always loved researching and writing local history, and is a well-known researcher about people, structures, buildings, canals, old cemeteries, and properties. Her most rewarding cases have been building family trees for adults who were adopted as infants in closed adoptions. She is an expert at building solid trees on Ancestry.com.
