About UsThe Bend Genealogical Society (fondly known as BGS) has been a gathering place of family historians in Bend, Deschutes County, Oregon, since January 1, 1993 though definitely genealogists had been meeting together in Bend, Oregon, for many years before 1993.
| Genealogical LibraryThe BGS Genealogical Library has over 2,500 genealogy books and journals for research in nearly all US states and many countries around the world, plus reference & how-to books, and lots more. The Cultural Trust funds cultural activities in Oregon through grants. Donate to an approved nonprofit, such as BGS, and then make a matching donation to the Trust.
