What’s New in Family Tree Maker (FTM) is for anyone, who is familiar with using Family Tree Maker 2019 software sold by MacKiev.com. You don't have to be a power user though to benefit by attending. The class is an active, engaging Q&A discussion between the participants and facilitator about using FTM features.
The class is not a sales pitch for FTM. It's a learning experience facilitated by Mark Olsen, Family Tree Maker Ambassador to historical and genealogical societies around the world. He is a graduate of Brigham Young University and holds a bachelor's degree in Family History with a Spanish records emphasis. He has been working in the genealogy industry since 2007 and has been the FTM Ambassador since 2016.
è Ask any questions about using the software's features during the hour and fifteen-minute or so session. No holding all questions until the end. This class is a fun, interactive session and includes a HANDOUT.
PLUS—What's New in Family Tree Maker will have a DOOR PRIZE. (must be present to win)
NOTE—Check the BGS Event Calendar: a 2nd Family Tree Maker Zoom session, Family Tree Maker 24.1 Update, is on April 17 at 10AM. It includes more specifics about what has been updated, made faster, more reliable, etc. in the recent software update. Again ask any questions throughout the session.
