Share your ancestor's story. We will help you write it. 

Turn family history research into clear engaging short stories. Join our friendly, in-person workshop series where we write together, learn together, and support each other.

What You’ll Do

  • Choose one ancestor or relative and shape a short story.
  • Learn writing tips, source citations, and adding photos.
  • Share drafts, get feedback, and finish with confidence.

Workshops are free to members and non‑members.
BGS members may submit stories for our publication (optional).

    (behind Jake’s Diner)
  • BGS Library open
    11 AM – 4 PM on workshop days
  • Wi‑Fi & power provided bring a laptop or notebook
